Raven Analog Camera Interface

The world's first universal analog camera interface combines flexible multi-camera capabilities with proven system interface technology. A single Raven board can accept up to four simultaneous camera inputs. And for application flexibility, the Raven works with all analog cameras, not only standard-scan RS170/CCIR monochrome as well as high quality RGB color cameras, but also non-standard types such as line-scanners, progressive-scan, and high-performance dual-tap cameras.

• Flow-Thru architecture featuring a Scatter/Gather DMA engine that supports the direct transfer of data to VGA or system memory in real-time
• Variable-scan: line scan / progressive area scan / dual-tap
• Standard-scan: RS-170 / CCIR
• Acquires image sizes up to 512K by 32K pixels (vertical size is unlimited for line scan cameras)
• 40MHz input channels
• Provides clock output from 0 to 24MHz
• Acquisition from four synchronized cameras
• Acquisition window and frame reset control
• Per channel strobe, encoder and asynchronous reset
• User-programmable camera controls and general purpose output signals

Applications

The Raven is suitable for simple RS-170 applications to complex multi-board/multi-computer applications. If you have a need for sampling above 40MHz, we can create a custom solution for you.
