BitFlow Announces Support for Cognex VisionPro Imaging Software

This means that all Cognex VisionPro developers, end users, and integrators can use any of BitFlow's powerful PCI Express bus frame grabbers when building advanced industrial or medical systems. By using BitFlow frame grabbers all VisionPro-based systems can use any Camera Link (base, medium, full, or 10-tap) or machine vision Analog (1-tap, 2-tap or RGB) camera, allowing system builders to select the very best area or linescan cameras for their specific application.

BitFlow frame grabbers are the fastest in the world, with the highest camera to frame grabber densities in the industry. For example the Karbon-CL4 is capable of taking in up to 160 bits of data, up to 20 taps, clock rates up to 85MHz, up to 4 Camera Link cameras, and DMAing the camera data at up to 1.7 Gigabytes per second directly into application memory. BitFlow also manufactures one of the least expensive Camera Link frame grabbers, the Neon-CL, which supports all Base Camera Link and PoCL cameras.
